Jean Monéger is currently a post-doctoral researcher affiliated to the University of Kent. Specialized in social cognition, his topics of interest relate to group perception, emotions, self-awareness and motivation. His current research project is about the perception of occupations as ‘heroic’ (e.g., nurses, firefighters, soldiers, etc.). Aside from promoting open science at a local scale, he also enjoys bouldering and science fiction novels.
