Jean Monéger is currently a post-doctoral researcher affiliated to the University of Reims Champagne-Ardennes and conducting his research at the University of Paris (Laboratory Vision Action and Cognition). Specialized in social cognition, his current topic of interest relates to the motivational consequences of the perception of emotional facial expressions. In this project, personality traits and clinical vulnerabilities are emphasized in order to capture the link between emotion perception and action tendencies. Aside from promoting open science at a local scale, he also enjoys bouldering and science fiction novels.
